Pakenham parkrun Event Number 130 - 11th March 2017
We were greeted with a glorious morning with a couple of first timers as well as a couple of tourists from near and far.
We presented Rogan Doyle and Maddie Utting with their Junior 10 certificates. They are well on their way to 50 and we look forward to seeing them in their gorgeous white 10 t-shirts soon!
As well as the Junior 10, we congratulated Kimm Davies and Zoe Bormanis on completing 50 parkruns. Such a great feat, well done to you both.
So that everyone can have an opportunity to run, we ask that runners volunteer around 3 times a year. Volunteering provides enjoyment, satisfaction and allows people to give back to their community, and without volunteers, parkrun would not be possible. In order for parkrun to run every week we need volunteers.
If you would like to assist, you can email us at pakenhamhelpers@parkrun.com, fill in the roster at the shelter or talk to your Run Director at the event.
Please check the future roster at: www.parkrun.com.au/pakenham/futureroster
Due to insurance purposes, we require all our volunteers to also be registered with parkrun, so please ensure that you are registered so we can add you to the roster!
We would like to thank the Cardinia Shire Council and the Pakenham Racing Club for their support in getting us up and running.
PLEASE NOTE: All our photos of the event are uploaded to our facebook page - Pakenham parkrun.
