We had 14 first timers and some tourists from Inverloch and Berwick Springs. Thanks for visiting and we hope to see you back again!

We witnessed some great milestones:

Rob Centonza, Hayley Judd and Rob Trotter have all completed 50 parkruns - well done!!

Jodie Soutter has completed 25 volunteers and wasn't she lucky to get a kiss from the Run Director (lucky they are married, so please do not expect to see this as a weekly occurrence!!)

We are so lucky to have such a great group at Pakenham as our volunteer roster is completely full until February 11 - that is amazing!! Thanks so much for your support, and if you are yet to volunteer, please have a look at our roster as we cannot run this awesome event without you!

Remember, that we have our "Kids Event" on January 28 where our parkrun kids show us how things are done. Please come down and support them the way they support you.

A few of you tried some 'jump shots' at the underpass. Well done and here are a few captured shots below:

Thank you to our amazing volunteers! So that everyone can have an opportunity to run, we ask that runners volunteer around 3 times a year. Without volunteers, parkrun would not be possible.

In order for parkrun to run every week we need volunteers. If you would like to assist, you can email us at pakenhamhelpers@parkrun.com, fill in the roster at the shelter or talk to your Run Director at the event. Please check the future roster at:

Due to insurance purposes, we require all our volunteers to also be registered with parkrun, so please ensure that you are registered so we can add you to the roster!
We would like to thank the Cardinia Shire Council and the Pakenham Racing Club for their support in getting us up and running.

PLEASE NOTE: All our photos of the event are uploaded to our facebook page - Pakenham parkrun
